Asking For Help
How do you ask for help when you don’t know what you don’t know? You don’t know what questions to ask so you move based on what you think you do know. But what if what you think you know is actually incorrect, a deception, a set up for failure? How would you know? What would you do?
Television can be educational but mostly it is a great deceiver. People can watch a medical show year after year until they believe that they can diagnose a medical issue.
It tells great lies like;
- all blonds are dumb
- beautiful women only come in small sizes
- we can solve all problems in 30 minutes
- cursing is ok
- all designers sew
In school if you take a test and fail then you know that you don’t know. Then you have an idea of exactly what you don’t know. Armed with this information you can begin to seek help. You ask a friend who is doing better than you in that subject or you can solicit the help of a tutor.
When you want to move into a new career the best thing to do is to read books, study the subject and get a mentor. Find someone who has successfully done what you want to do. This sounds easy but it is a challenge. The challenge is to clear your slate of what you think you know and follow instructions, take a suggestion.
You have to be able to use discernment, listen to the advice and hear what part of it is just for you. But if you can, if you are able to hear what the universe is saying to you, you can avoid wasting money, time and energy. You will be able to reach the desires of your heart if you are able to hear.
“Seek and you shall find, ask and you shall receive, knock and the door will be opened unto you.”
